Robert Abrams, Co-Content Coordinator
Robert Abrams is one of the
authors of the new McGraw-Hill reference book, BoomerBasics: Our Parents,
Our Children, Ourselves expected in book stores by mid- January 2000.
Bob is the managing partner of Law Offices of Robert Abrams, P.C., a nine
attorney firm located in Lake Success, New York. The firm provides services
in several areas, including guardianships, elder law, health law, estate
planning and administration and related litigation matters.
Bob created and served as Editor-in-Chief of "Guardianship Practice in
New York State", a 1712 page book consisting of 27 chapters, over 100
forms and sample pleadings, a comprehensive list of guardianship cases
and helpful practice tips.
Mr. Abrams is an active member of several professional organizations,
including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New York
State Bar Association (NYSBA). He is the former Chair of the NYSBA's Elder
Law Section and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Health Law
Section. He is the founder of Decision-Making Day, an annual volunteer
program sponsored by NYSBA and recognized by New York State Governor George
Pataki. This program is designed to advise New Yorkers of the importance
of advance directives, such as Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney.
He also served in NYSBA's House of Delegates from 1994 to 1997. He is
a sustaining member of the NYSBA and a Fellow of the New York Bar Foundation.
Bob was selected by former New York State Governor Mario Cuomo to serve
as a New York State delegate to the White House Conference on Aging in
1995.
Bob earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from New York University,
a JD from the New York Law School and is a New York State licensed nursing
home administrator.

Walter T. Burke
Walter Burke is one of the author's of the exciting new McGraw-Hill reference
text, BoomerBasics: Our Parents, Our Children, Ourselves. In 1988, Walter
Burke and his partner, Timothy E. Casserly, founded Burke and Casserly,
P.C., a two-lawyer, two-staff firm, specializing in planning for all phases
of life. Based in Albany, New York, their firm has grown to a mid-size
regional firm, now known as Burke, Casserly & Gable, P.C. One of Walter's
primary areas of expertise is the burgeoning area of Elder Law. He is
very active with the New York State Bar Association and is a former Chair
of the Elder Law Section, which has over 2,500 attorneys in New York State.
He also serves on the Elder Law Executive Committee. Walter had the honor
of participating as Coordinator of the White House Mini-Conference on
Aging and served as an Official Observer at the White House Conference
on Aging in Washington, D.C. in 1995. Walter earned his BA in English
from Manhattan College, a Master's Degree in Education from Iona College
in New Rochelle and his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School
of Law.

Timothy E. Casserly, Co-Content Coordinator
Tim Casserly is one of the author's of the exciting new McGraw-Hill reference
text, BoomerBasics: Our Parents, Our Children, Ourselves. Tim along with
his partner, Walter T. Burke, founded the law firm of Burke & Casserly,
P.C. in 1988 (and has since become Burke, Casserly & Gable, P.C.)
which focuses on planning for all phases of life including estate planning,
elder law, taxation and estate administration. Tim also concentrates in
financial planning having received his Certified Financial Planner designation
from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Tim has written,
lectured and appeared on television broadcasts on the topics of elder
law, estate and financial planning, insurance and investments. Tim received
a BA in Economics and Communications from Boston College in 1981 and his
Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School of Union University in Albany,
New York in 1984.

Wade C. Davis
Wade Davis, a senior member of the Global Technology Group of Lazard
Freres & Co. LLC, specializes in IT services, the Internet and application
software sectors. Recent assignments include advisor to Geocities in its
acquisition by Yahoo, advisor to VentureOne Corporation in its sale to
Reuters; Alcatel SA in its acquisition of Packet Engines; advisor to the
Carlyle Group and BDM International in its acquisition by TRW; advisor
to the General Motors Pension Plan and U.S. Trust with respect to the
Plan's holding of the common stock of EDS; advisor to Geocities in its
recent recapitalization by Yahoo! and Softbank; advisor to Ikonic Interactive
in its sale to USWeb Corporation.
Previously, Mr. Davis was a founding member of Wasserstein Perella's
Technology Group, most recently having served as the Chief Operating Officer
of that group.
Wade holds degrees with distinction in both Philosophy and Economics
from Williams College.

Steven M. Klosk
For the past eight years, Steve
Klosk has been the Executive Vice President of Cambrex Corporation,
a Life Sciences company traded on the NYSE with $500 million in sales.
Cambrex operates 15 subsidiaries in the USA, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland,
England and Denmark and employs 1900 employees worldwide. Steve holds
a BS from Cornell and JD from the New York Law School and is a member
of the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations.

Barbara S. Nodiff, RN, MS
Barbara S. Nodiff is President of Associated Geriatric Information Network,
Inc., (AGIN) a health care consulting firm providing services to nursing
facilities, adult homes, physician group practices and managed care organizations
in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Ohio and Florida.
AGIN's services focus on regulatory compliance, development of new services
and programs and cost effective operational management.
Ms. Nodiff is co-author of the Quality Assessment and Assurance Manual
for Long-Term Facilities (National Health Publishing, 1991) and a contributing
author to Guardianship Practice in New York State (New York State Bar
Association, 1997). She is well known to audiences of health care professionals
and other interested parties regarding issues pertinent to long term care.
Barbara volunteers in the community, providing assistance with special
projects to those in need. She was recently married to her husband, Ed,
and they reside in New Rochelle, New York.

Derek R. Reisfield, Chairman of the Board
Derek Reisfield has spent his entire career in the media, telecommunications
and new media industries. In addition to spending 10 years at McKinsey
and Mitchell Madison advising Fortune 500 companies on their media strategies,
Derek has conceived, built and taken public three Internet new media companies,
each with a market capitalization approaching or exceeding one billion
dollars in value. Most recently, Derek served as Vice Chairman and Co-founder
of Luminant Worldwide Corporation the industry's fourth largest web services
company. Prior to Luminant, Derek was the President of the CBS New Media
Group, where he created and took public Marketwatch.com and Sportsline.com.
He was also the General Partner of R4 Ventures, a private venture fund.
Derek has a degree in History from Wesleyan University and a Masters in
Communications Management from The Annenberg School of Communications
at USC.

Joseph Siegelbaum
Mr. Siegelbaum is the managing partner of Friedman Siegelbaum LLP, a
60 lawyers firm with its main offices located in Roseland, New Jersey
and an office located in New York, New York. Friedman Siegelbaum LLP,
a general practice firm with a specialized practice in the technology
areas, represents some of our nation's major corporations in a wide rage
of technology transactions. Mr. Siegelbaum heads the firm's corporate
department and is regularly involved in both corporate and technology
matters.
Mr. Siegelbaum received his bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall
College and his law degree from Rutgers Law School, where he served as
the Articles Editor of the Law Review. He has had article published in
Computer Lawyer and the Rutgers Law Review.

Harold Hess, M.D.
Dr. Harold Hess is a recognized
spinal expert who has been in private practice for 12 years. He holds
a BS from New York Institute of Technology, an MS from New York University
Graduate School of Arts and Science, and an MD from State University of
New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. His training includes a Neurological
Surgery Residency at State University of New York Health Science Center
at Syracuse and a Spinal Fellowship at University of Florida. Harold is
Board Certified in Neurological Surgery and devotes his practice in Paramus,
New Jersey to all aspects of spinal surgery.
